Brief Biography
Dr. Kumar completed his DNB in Family Medicine at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, his DFID Diabetes Fellowship at Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, and his Senior Residency in Geriatrics at Patna Medical College. He follows a practical clinical philosophy: delivering comprehensive and affordable care to all.
As Chair of Rural WONCA, he works at the intersection of primary care, rural health access, chronic disease, infectious disease, and public-health practice. He is the Founder Chair and now Immediate Past Chair of both WONCA Rural South Asia and AFPI Rural.
His academic work includes peer-reviewed research in infectious diseases and diabetes, with clinical insights presented at major international medical conferences across Asia, Europe, Africa, South America, and Australia.
